The great indoor-outdoor cathedral of Manhattan soccer: courtyard fields inside the pier structure and rooftop fields above the Hudson, used by more than two hundred thousand players a year and home to DUSC, Urban Soccer, NYC Soccer League, and countless others.

If you play organized football in lower Manhattan long enough, you will end up at Pier 40.
