The work taking shape
A soccer community needs a way to stay in touch between games. JOGA NYC Members is the free community list for players, families, fans, creatives and people who want to remain close to the city’s football life.
The current membership page offers updates about playing opportunities, Talent IDs, stories, community events and ways to contribute. People can choose the subjects they want to hear about. Joining does not require a donation, event work or a social media post.
That distinction makes belonging easier to understand. Someone can enjoy the game and follow the community without taking on a job. Someone else can choose to help build JOGA through an open role, coaching, creative work or a partnership conversation.
The page also describes member invitations, giveaways and partner opportunities as they become available. These depend on availability and their own eligibility rules. Membership does not guarantee an event place, a prize or player selection.
For members under 18, a parent or guardian joins them on the form and provides the contact for youth opportunities. The goal is a useful connection that can continue after a session ends: a clearer way to hear what is next and decide where to take part.
