Upcoming Met Oval and DUSC Talent IDs continue JOGA’s fall calendar, with a future interest list for opportunities beyond October.
The work taking shape
The recent Talent IDs lead into a fuller October calendar. As of October 7, JOGA’s public page lists Met Oval sessions on October 13 and 14, followed by DUSC sessions on October 16 and 19.
The October 13 Met Oval listing is at Randall’s Island, Field 70, from 6 to 7:30 PM for U16–U19 players. The DUSC session on October 16 is at Gansevoort from 5:30 to 7 PM EDT for birth years 2010–2012. October 19 remains at Pier 40 from 7 to 8:30 PM for birth years 2012–2014.
The current Met Oval and DUSC listings are for players not registered with an MLS NEXT club. Players submit a profile for consideration and attend when invited. Each opportunity has its own age and level requirements.
The October 12 Showcase is a separate event. Its application and invitation process should be read on the Showcase page, rather than treated as another date on the Talent ID list.
Beyond the listed dates, JOGA is planning more Talent IDs. The future interest list allows a player’s profile to be considered when a suitable opportunity opens. Further dates, venues and terms will be shared as they are confirmed.
That is the direction of the work: a continuing set of opportunities, with enough clarity for players and families to choose the right next step. Submitting a profile begins that process; it does not guarantee an invitation or placement.
